Eduardo Fukushima was born in Sao Paulo in 15th, april of 1984.
Work as choreographer, dancer and teacher.
Graduation in dance at the course “ Communication and Body Arts” at Ponticificia University Catholic of Sao Paulo ( PUC).
Created and performed the solos: Exit in 2004, Corner in 2007, Between Contention in 2008 (prize Funarte Klaus Vianna of Sao Paulo), How to overcome the great tiredness? in 2010 ( prize Rumos Dança Itaú Cultural 2009/2010, Brazil) and Crooked Man ( Prize Rolex Mentor & Protègè Arts Initiative 2012/2013, Switzerland and Prize Denilton Gomes 2014, from Cooperativa Paulista de dança), Title in Suspension in 2017 ( created in residences at Hellerau em Dresden, Mosounturm em Frankfurt, TanzHaus NRW em Dusseldorf, SESC Vila Mariana in São Paulo e Lesaka ( Basc Country) ).
Now in creation in a new piece pre called Title in Suspension, in residence during 2016 at Hellerau, Dresden, at Mosounturm in Frankfurt, TanzHaus nrw in Dusseldorf and SESC Vila Mariana in Sao Paulo, Premiere in 2017.
In 2012 and 2013 he was selected as protégé in Rolex Mentor & Protégé Arts Initiative to study and work with Lin Hwai-min, artistic director of the Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan, staying for a year in Taiwan where also specialized in Tai chi, practice he has been study since 2005.
In 2017 he was one of the artists invited to studying in Camping at Centre National de Danse in Paris, supported by Porosus Fondation.
In 2016 he was part of DanceWeber scholarship at Impultanz Festival in Vienna, Austria.
In 2015, he was invited to participate in the “Residence and Reflection” at Kunstenfestivaldesarts in Brussels, Belgium.
In 2012 was invited to participate at Weya, world artistic meeting in Nothingham in the UK among 1.000 artists.

Worked as mentor and teacher at Vocacional Project, artistic program of the Sao Paulo Cultural Department and guided workshops and residences around Brazil and Santo Domingo, Nicosia ( Chipre), Buenos Aires ( ARG), Londres (UK), Atenas ( GRE), Dusseldorf, Frankfurt e Dresden ( ALE) and Valparaíso ( CHI).
He has been practicing oriental body practices as Seitai-ho from Japan and Chi Kung, Tai chi from China since 2005 and has studies in Classic Ballet, Brazilian Dance, Capoeira Angola, Release Technique, Contact Improvisation, Indian Dance and Artistic Gymnastic.
He teaches Tai chi and dance since 2009.
